Former Police Scotland chief adresses child abuse conference

Former Police Scotland chief constable Sir Iain Livingstone is going to address a conference in Edinburgh that hopes to tackle child abuse.

The International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect will hold its congress in the capital this week from Monday until Wednesday.

Sir Iain left his post as the top cop of Police Scotland in August and will address the conference today.

More than 700 delegates are expected from up to 68 countries.
