1 in 3 people who went to a Scottish A and E Department earlier this month waited more than four hours before they were seen.

Public Health Scotland statistics released on Tuesday show 66.2% of people were seen within four hours in the week of the 10th September.

The figures during the previous week showed that 68.7% had been seen inside the time window.

The Scottish Government target shows that 95% of people should be seen within 4 hours.
