The TV Choice Awards are just around the corner, and this year's shortlist includes some standout contenders.

Two beloved series, "Happy Valley" and "Heartstopper," have each been nominated for three awards.

Sally Wainwright's final season of "Happy Valley" on BBC One has garnered attention for several aspects, including Sarah Lancashire's remarkable performance as Catherine Cawood, James Norton's portrayal of the menacing Tommy Lee Royce, and the show itself.

Netflix's "Heartstopper" has also made a strong showing in the nominations, receiving nods for Best Drama Series, Best Actor for Kit Connor, and Best Actress for Yasmin Finney.

These remarkable series will be competing in the Best Drama Series category against tough contenders like "All Creatures Great And Small" set in the Yorkshire Dales on Channel 5, and the ITV1 detective series "Vera."

Notable actors like David Tennant from ITVX's "Litvinenko" and Martin Clunes from "Doc Martin" have received nominations for Best Actor, while Jenny Agutter from "Call The Midwife" and Brenda Blethyn from "Vera" are among the contenders for Best Actress.

The Best New Drama category is equally packed with talent, featuring BBC's "Beyond Paradise," a UK spin-off from the popular crime series "Death In Paradise," the BBC's "Blue Lights," focusing on the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Sky Atlantic's dystopian drama "The Last Of Us," and Netflix's latest regency-era installment, "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story."

For Best Reality Show, ITV1's "I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!" is hoping to maintain its winning streak, following its 17th win last year. The competition is fierce, and fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming awards ceremony to see which shows and actors will come out on top.
