Bubble Tea was unmasked as none other than Julia Sawalha, best known for her role as Saffron in the beloved sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, alongside guest panellist Jennifer Saunders.
The revelation came during school disco week, with Saunders expressing her shock at Sawalha's participation in the show.
The 55-year-old actress, who performed Le Freak by Chic, found herself in the bottom two alongside Owl after a public vote.
Host Joel Dommett unveiled her identity, leading Sawalha to share her excitement about overcoming her fear of singing on the reality show.
Reflecting on her experience, Sawalha stated, "I’ve loved it (the show). My friend earlier this year said ‘You don’t sing enough Julia’. And then this came up and I thought ‘I need to do something I’m absolutely terrified of.’”
The Masked Singer continues to captivate audiences, with recent performances by Piranha, Eiffel Tower, and Owl adding to the mystery.
