An advert for the low-cost hotel chain in the Scottish Capital has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority for being misleading.
The paid-for ad for the hotel chain stated: “Premier Inn Edinburgh – rooms from only £35 per night.”
When a consumer tried to book one of these rooms at £35 they discovered there was only a small number available at that price.
The ASA said that the advert was likely to mislead people.
