On Wednesday, 13 March, 2024, officers attended a property in the Whitecraig area of East Lothian suspected of being involved in the supply of illegal drugs.

Seized from within the address was a significant quantity of cannabis, as well as cocaine and offensive weapons. The items recovered are believed to have an estimated potential street value of around £72,000.

Two men, aged 30 and 34, were arrested and charged in connection. Both are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday, 5 April, 2024.
