A leading charity has revealed that 1 in 4 children living in Scotland, are now living below the poverty line.
Children 1st launched an appeal for donations after Scottish Government figures released last week showed no improvement in the number of children living in poverty across the country.
The charity says the cost of living crisis has made the most basic essentials like food too expensive for families, while other neccesities like shoes and underwear are not being replaced when they're too small as families can't afford it.
