Film star Lindsay Lohan says that a sequel to the iconic 'Freaky Friday' movie is a work 'in the process'.
The 2003 film starred Lohan and Oscar-winner Jamie Lee Curtis as the body-switching mother-daughter duo.
The film was confirmed to be making a comeback last year, 20 years on from it's initial release.
Lohan has been speaking to PEOPLE magazine and says: “I’m just excited to work with Jamie again and see how much further we can take it.
“Because we talk almost every other day in general, so I think we’re going to have a lot of fun with this.”
The star says she called her "friends" at Disney and said a film had to be made, and now preparations are underway for a sequel in the coming months.
