Comedian Jack Whitehall and model girlfriend Roxy Horner shared adorable photos on Instagram to announce the birth of their first child.
Whitehall, 34, shared a cute snap on social media of his girlfriend Roxy, 32 and their baby girl, captioning the post: Well this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined.
In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever. So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I’d never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid."
Family, friends and fans were quick to share their congratulations to the couple, American singer Dove Cameron commented "huge huge love" and Whitehall's sister Molly wrote, "Love you all so much."
The British comedian shared ultrasound pictures to his Instagram earlier this year to announce their pregnancy writing:
And I thought I wasn’t getting enough attention when the dog arrived…"
Whitehall and Horner met in 2020 whilst he was on a trip to Australia, where Horner's family live and announced their relationship in March 2020.
They decided to move in together during lockdown and still live together in Whitehall's £17.5 million home in Notting Hill.
The couple found out they were pregnant in the same place they met, after going to Australia to visit Horner's family. Her grandmother had died a week before and Horner felt her pregnancy was a "gift" from her.
However, Horner has been open about her health struggles after collapsing at the 2021 Brit Awards which Whitehall was hosting. She was taken to hospital and diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
Horner also spoke about suffering a miscarriage a year before the announcement of the pregnancy which scared her into being public about the happy news saying she was "worried something else might happen".
Although the couple has not hinted at any names for their new baby girl, he has joked after Arsnel's win: 'Name wise after this weekend I think ‘rice, rice, baby’ has a nice ring to it."
