Popstar Adele has decided she will no longer be taking selfies with her fans, according to reports.
The singer who is currently performing regularly at her Las Vegas residency announced the bombshell news over the weekend.
Fans are shocked because of her normally friendly and personable nature.
But, Adele says there is good reason - she's trying not to get COVID and avoid cancelling performances.
"Normally I would absolutely stop and chat and all of that and hear all about your life and be the nosey person that I am."
"However, I'm hanging on by a thread trying not to get COVID."
"Everyone that I know that I work with has f**king COVID, so it's a miracle that I haven't had it yet," she stated.
"And I really do love chatting to you, but I don't want to get sick"
