In the face of an environmental crisis and an ongoing cost-of-living challenge, The Leith Collective is committed to addressing waste while bringing hope to those in need.
On Sunday, December 1st, The Leith Collective kicks off its annual Christmas tree exchange at its four locations across Scotland, with a special personal twist this year.
Residents are encouraged to search their homes for unwanted Christmas trees and decorations that might be gathering dust.
Instead of tossing them, they can bring them to The Leith Collective stores, where they will find new homes for those in need.
The charity also invites holiday shoppers to pause their gift-hunting to contribute messages of hope on the decorations.
These heartfelt notes will adorn the pre-loved Christmas trees, helping to uplift spirits and spread joy during the festive season.
Last year, The Leith Collective successfully re-homed nearly 500 Christmas trees, and demand is anticipated to be similarly high this season.
Christmas trees and decorations will be available for collection at The Leith Collective's outlets located in Edinburgh's Fort Kinnaird, Ocean Terminal, and Waverley Market.
All items will be offered free of charge, with no stigma or questions attached.
