Edinburgh Airport is telling passengers to check ‘with their airline on the status of their flight' following serious delays caused by a UK-wide air traffic control issue.
Passengers have been stranded at both UK and international airports after a technical hitch at National Air Traffic Services.
While UK airspace wasn't closed, there were minimal flights departing or arriving due to technical issues.
