A man who raped and assaulted two young girls when he was a child has been jailed for four years in Edinburgh.
Mohammed Ahmed was just 12 years old when he first began abusing two young girls in Edinburgh.
His victims were both nine-years-old when he started preying on them.
Ahmed, who is now aged 24, had denied the series of charges during an earlier trial.
However, he has now been convicted of five offences involving the girls.
He was found guilty of sexually assaulting and raping one girl back when she was aged nine in December 2010.
Ahmed, from Edinburgh, was also convicted of assaulting her.
