US rapper Travis Scott has stormed the UK charts with his new album 'Utopia' for the first time in his career.

Competing against fellow rappers, Central Cee and Dave alongside UK singer Anne Marie Travis Scott has managed to top the Uk charts with his new album.

Uk rappers Dave and Central Cee also stand at the top of the charts with their song 'Sprinter' which is now the UK's longest-running rap number one.

Lizzo's new song 'Pink' flew 12 places up the charts since sexual, religious and racial misconduct allegations were made public, the American singer has since denied all allegations against her.

Since the tragic death of Irish singer-songwriter Sinead o' Connor, 56 her biggest hit 'Nothing compares 2 U' has also hit the top 40 Uk charts for the first time in 33 years.

Although, British singer Anne-Marie, 32 was knocked off the top spot by Scott her new album 'Unhealthy' still remains the fastest-selling album of 2023 so far by a UK female solo artist.

Travis Scott has made a flying comeback since the controversy over his Astroworld music festival two years ago after thousands were injured and 10 people died after the crowd panicked over the size of the crowd which was over the capacity of people at the stage.

The tragic deaths of 10 of his fans came from compressive asphyxiation due to the size of the crowd, however, Scott did not face criminal charges over the incident after it went to court in Texas in June.

The rapper is still facing multiple suits from his performance in Houston, the rapper was criticised for continuing to perform as the panic in the crowd was taking place.

The 32-year-old rapper responded to the accident saying it had left him "distraught" and was not aware of the full extent of what had happened until he had come off stage.

Houston Police and federal officials are still investigating whether Travis Scott and the entertainment group Live Nation had made proper safety measures in preparation for the event.
