US singer Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner confirm their divorce but have said it is "amicable".
Jonas brother singer Joe Jonas, 34, filed for divorce on Tuesday, news of their couple's split comes after online speculation that they were separating after Joe was seen without his wedding ring in August but was seen wearing it again earlier this week.
Sophie Turner, 27, best known for her role as Sansa Stark in Game Of Thrones married Joe Jonas in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas in 2019 and had another ceremony for their friends and family a month later in the south of France.
The couple share two daughters, Willa was born in 2020 and their other daughter whose name has not been released to the public was born last year.
They began dating in 2016, after being seen attending a wedding together before announcing their engagement in October 2017.
After much guessing on social media about the reason for their divorce the couple posted a joint statement online stating: "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage... we sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children".
Jonas is also seeking joint custody of their two children and the couple also have a pre-nuptial agreement that is expected to be enforced.
