A sneak peek image has been unveiled from the highly anticipated film adaptation of the beloved children's book "Tabby McTat," featuring none other than "Doctor Who" star, Jodie Whittaker.
The animated film, a joint production by the BBC and Magic Light Pictures, is a charming adaptation of Julia Donaldson's picture book of the same name. Set against the backdrop of the bustling streets of London, the movie explores the heartwarming friendship between a musical feline and a busker named Fred.
Jodie Whittaker, 41, known for her role as the Doctor, takes on the role of the film's narrator. Speaking about the project, she said, "Tabby McTat is such a beautiful story about embracing change and the transitions in life, from childhood to adulthood and people going on journeys."
Whittaker also shared her personal connection to the story, saying, "We had cats when we were growing up. My cat gave birth under my bed, and it was magical. But then as a child, you realize your parents don't let you keep them all."
