Celeb Big Brother 2024: What do we know so far?

After the return of Big Brother in 2023, viewers are getting very excited about Celebrity Big Brother hitting our screens in just a matter of weeks. Edge Edit presenter George Icke has been looking through all the gossip surrounding the show.

We're told it's going to be an even bigger and better launch to the celeb version than we saw with Big Brother 2023, with an entirely live launch show - something that fans slammed the last season for not featuring.

Big Brother 2023 created some icons in the reality TV world and didn't disappoint fans with the explosive fallouts over the most minor moments and even a romantic ending for winner Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan who appear to be a couple since the end of the show.

But now, we're looking ahead to the 2024 season of Celebrity Big Brother...

WHEN WILL IT START?

ITV & STV have confirmed that Celebrity Big Brother will launch on Saturday 9th March at 9PM - it will be an entirely live first episode on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.

WHO IS HOSTING IT?

It's been confirmed that AJ Odudu and Will Best will continue in their reign as hosts of Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother.

WHO IS ON IT?

Largely we are still unsure, but as always the rumours are rife as to who could be appearing. We've put some of the best ones we've heard below - but remember the lineup is still UNCONFIRMED.

Louis Walsh - 71, Former X-Factor judge and manager of Boyzone, Westlife and Jedward.

Sharon Osbourne - 71, Former X-Factor judge, music manager, and author and wife of Ozzy Osbourne.

Levi Roots - 65, British-Jamaican reggae musician and chef, known for success on Dragon's Den with 'Reggae Reggae Sauce'.

Chloe Burrows - 28, Former Love Island contestant who reportedly turned down the 'All Stars' season hoping to be cast on CBB.

Joey Essex - 33, Known for the ITV reality series The Only Way Is Essex and I'm a Celeb.

Rebekah Vardy - 41, Known for being married to footballer, Jamie Vardy, and her explosive row with Coleen Rooney, known as 'Wagatha Christie'.

Fern Britton - 66, Television presenter and author. She co-presented Breakfast Time back in the 80s.

Jordan North - 34, Known for his podcast 'Help I Sexted my Boss' and being a former BBC Radio 1 presenter.

Ekin Su Cülcüloğlu - 29, Previously an actress in a Turkish soap opera, but now known for dating Davidé in Love Island.

Lauren Simon - 48, Star of Real Housewives of Cheshire - but reportedly now owes almost a million pounds following a split with her husband.

It's fair to say if these rumours are true we are certainly in for a good series, however regardless of who appears with a reported 2 MILLION pound casting budget from broadcaster, ITV, it's going to feature some real famous faces. Rumoured lineups so far haven't included any controversial characters or politicians but we'll have to wait and see who may be added to the list closer to the show's launch.
