The Louisa Jordan hospital in Glasgow is to close on Thursday, Since it was opened in 2020 the ‘Hospital’ has played a vital role in the Covid-19 battle.
The £70 million site, based at the SEC, was built early on in the pandemic, over concerns the NHS would be overwhelmed.
It has more recently been used as a vaccination hub – with more than 170,000 people receiving their Covid-19 vaccination at the site.
Today will be the last day of public appointments at the Louisa Jordon.
Vaccinations are expected to continue on the SEC site, moving to the nearby Hydro in early April.
