Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has made the tough decision to reschedule all of his 2021 shows for a second time, and instead will return to the stages in 2022.
The show was first scheduled for June 2020 but was pushed back due to the pandemic.
At the start of the year Capaldi decided to take time off social media to work on his latest album.
Today he broke his silence and returned after four months with an update on his progress and also announced he would not be performing throughout 2021.
Capaldi explained he is still working on his new album but he needs more time to finish it.
He expressed how hard it has been writing new songs the past few months, as despite having extra time due to Covid-19 he could not be around the people he loved working with on his previous albums.

In his statement he said: “It’s with an extremely heavy heart that I’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule this year’s shows and put all my effort into making the best album I can for you.”
“I hate the thought of letting anyone down, especially after the year we’ve just had.”
“Getting the album right has to be my number one priority at the moment, I hope you understand.”
We will all have to wait a little longer before seeing our favourite Scotsman once again.
