23-year-old Craig Eddie from Falkirk has been named the winner of The Voice UK 2021.

After a riveting performance of his original song ‘Come Waste My Time’ Craig was crowned the winner. He expressed that singing his own song in the final would be a risk, but he wanted to put himself out there.

Craig was representing Team Anne-Marie, who is a coach for the first time on the show this year.

A tense final saw Craig, Grace Holden, Hannah Williams and Okulaja battle it out for the title.

After singing solo and then performing with their coaches, the four contestants faced the public vote which narrowed it down to the final two.

Craig then went head to head with Grace, and thanks to the public vote won the competition along with a recording contract.

A speechless Craig said: “I genuinely cannot express my thoughts. Thank you to everyone, to Scotland and to Anne-Marie for believing in me.”
