Business Tycoon Mike Ashley told to put Jenner’s sign back

The billionaire businessman, who owns sports direct, has been told by Edinburgh Council officials to put signage back on the iconic Jenner’s building in Edinburgh. The building is owned by a Danish billionaire, Anders Holch Povlsen.

A spokesperson for for Anders Holch Povlsen said that the signage was removed from the famous building without his permission.

Edinburgh Rope Access were brought in to remove the signage from the building. They revealed that the sign is being stored on the 6th floor of the department store after they were contracted to remove the sign last week. City of Edinburgh Council says that Mr Ashley, the current tenant, has three months from when an enforcement notice comes into effect on 14 May.

Jenners is currently being opperated by Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group which owns Debenhams, Sports Direct and Evans Cycles.
